Remark Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: MARK) Releases Its Most Recent Collaboration with AAEON

Remark Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: MARK) announced its most recent collaboration with AAEON, a leader in AI-Edge computing. This collaboration emphasizes the significance of providing market-ready solutions for smart cities that require vision solutions for increased public safety, situational awareness, and behavior analysis.

“We are very excited about this collaboration. Combining our AI-powered video analytics with AAEON’s computing platforms results in a more straightforward solution for system integrators and end users. We can easily build and deploy a complete vision system that detects, identifies, tracks, and characterizes objects, people, vehicles, and behaviors at scale and speed while providing actionable insights and minimizing false alerts “said Dr. Xiaoyun Yang, Remark Holdings’ Director of R&D.

Dr. Xiaoyun Yang adds, “As the number of cameras installed by businesses grows, the cost of advanced technology such as AI-driven video analytics falls. And, given the number of false alarms and the need to act quickly, relying on manual monitoring of video streams is unrealistic and inefficient for mid to large organizations. Instead, our system interprets video content 24 hours a day, seven days a week, acting as a force multiplier for security and operations teams. We have also seen some exciting applications, such as personal protective equipment detection and queue management, which we will demonstrate with AAEON at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) conference in Barcelona, Spain, from January 31st to February 3rd, and at the Embedded World Conference Nernberg, Germany, in March.”

“Remark has been a pleasure to work with, enabling a ‘easy install’ video analytics solution that provides accurate data at a low cost to end users. Furthermore, this deployment will spark a flood of ideas for future computer vision applications, demonstrating our ability to push the boundaries beyond what we previously thought possible “Iris Huang, Product Sales Manager SPD at AAEON, comments.
