agilon health, inc. (NYSE: AGL) will report its financial results for the third quarter 2022 after the market closes on Thursday, November 3, 2022, and will have a conference call to discuss the results at 5:00 PM Eastern Time the same day.
Michael Smith, who has served on the board of directors of agilon health for more than five years, has just announced his retirement. Jeff Schwaneke has been appointed as an independent board member, effective immediately, after Smith’s retirement. Schwaneke formerly served as Centene Corporation’s Executive Vice President, Health Care Enterprises, a Fortune 50 corporation and a prominent healthcare firm.
Board Chairman, Ron Williams stated that the board of directors would like to thank Michael for his years of devotion, leadership, and contributions, including his previous tenure as head of the audit committee. They are overjoyed to have Jeff on the agilon health board. They feel his considerable managerial, financial, and industry knowledge will be extremely valuable during the company’s critical development time.
Chief Executive Officer, Steve Sell added “I would like to express my gratitude to Michael for his dedicated service on the agilon board during a critical time period for the company and to wish him well in his retirement. Prior to joining Centene, Schwaneke worked for Novelis, Inc. as the Assistant Controller and later as the Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to joining Novelis, Schwaneke worked in finance and accounting at SPX Corporation and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Schwaneke is a CPA and a graduate of the University of Missouri.
